5 Tips to Overcome Procrastination

Procrastination is something we can all relate to, at one time or another. The word itself, sounds unappealing. But the good news is, like anything in life… it doesn’t have to define us. Time is always ticking but we can always be moving forward. Being productive. Time is too precious to waste. So here’s a few thoughts that might help when you’re stuck or stalled. 

➡️ Identify your distractions. Why are you not taking those steps?  What is in your way? Move them  or remove them. Whatever works best for you. Do whatever it takes to stay focused. 

➡️ Find your peeps. Who will help you stay on task? Find those people who can be your go-to community of encouragers. 


➡️ Share your goals. Let others know the what, why and how you want to get results. Community creates strength.


➡️ Ask for help. Find an accountability partner  and be specific of what they can do to move you to action. 


➡️ Progress not perfection. Take small steps. Don’t beat yourself up if you’re not where you think you should be. If you are moving forward in a positive direction, you are exactly where you need to be.
