About

Hi, I’m Laura — the heart behind Her Journey Towards Change Life Coaching.

I’m not someone who has lived a perfect life and figured it all out. I’m a woman who has walked through hard seasons, carried heavy emotional loads, struggled with depression, and learned what it means to keep moving forward one day at a time.

I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, and woman of faith who understands how easy it is to lose yourself while trying to do “all the things.” One of the biggest experiences that changed my life was recently becoming a kidney donor for my husband. That season taught me so much about love, fear, strength, exhaustion, gratitude, and the importance of slowing down and caring for your own emotional health too.

For a long time, I pushed through life trying to stay strong, overthinking everything, carrying stress quietly, and feeling the pressure so many women feel every day. I know what it’s like to smile on the outside while feeling emotionally drained on the inside.

That’s why I’m passionate about helping women who feel stuck, overwhelmed, burned out, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Especially the women who are always there for everyone else but rarely make time for themselves.

My coaching is not about pretending life is easy or having all the answers. It’s about real conversations, encouragement, faith, growth, healing, and learning how to move from simply surviving to truly living again.

I believe change starts when we stop ignoring ourselves. When we become honest about what we need. When we give ourselves permission to heal, grow, and move forward without guilt.

When I’m not coaching or writing, you’ll usually find me enjoying nature, photography, hot chocolate, quiet moments, and the simple things in life that remind me to slow down and stay present. But most importantly, staying close to my faith in God.

You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone.

Sometimes the strongest thing a woman can do is finally admit she’s tired and needs support too.

I want women to know they are still worthy of peace, joy, purpose, and a fresh start — no matter what they’ve walked through.

Feel free to email, call or text me. Let’s talk.
