Rear view Thoughts
As I watched the sun dip below the horizon in my rearview mirror, it felt like a metaphor for life itself. The fading light reminded me that each day is a journey, with its own highs and lows. Just as the sun sets to rise again, we too face moments of darkness and challenges, but they are always followed by the promise of a new dawn and fresh opportunities. It’s a reminder that even in life’s inevitable endings, there is beauty, hope, and the chance to start anew. As Psalm 30:5 says, ‘Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.’ How does the symbolism of…

Jesus Wept…
So much seems to be going on in the world these days. With that said, emotions can run high. Emotions are a fundamental part of being human. Throughout my life, I’ve come to understand that it’s perfectly okay to cry when I’m overwhelmed by these feelings. It’s a way to release the pent-up emotions that can otherwise weigh me down. In the Bible, there’s a verse that has always resonated with me in moments of emotional struggle: Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” This verse reminds me that even in my most vulnerable moments, there is divine comfort and understanding.…

5 WAYS TO SHIFT YOUR MINDSET
How many of you have or maybe currently are stuck in a negative mindset? It happens to the best of us for various reasons. (Overthinking in decision making, thinking about past events, maybe someone is angry with us, fear of the future, negative self-talk or excessive self-criticism, jumping to conclusions, self-blame, always assuming the worst, going through a traumatic experience, or struggle with OCD, anxiety, depression or another mental health struggle). Getting stuck in a negative or limiting mindset can be frustrating. I know. I’ve been there. It’s not a pretty place to be. It can hinder our progress in whatever we are trying to accomplish.
